EMC Test & Competence

SIMA Innovation has own EMC test facilities for Emissions measurements and Immunity tests according to most current standards.

Our extensive test centre allow for testing according to many civil and military standards, e.g. MIL-STD-461, and we also carry out Electrical & EMC tests to show compliance with EU EMC directive 2014/30/EU.

We use the EMC Centre for our own development cycle, but also offer our EMC expertise for third parties –within the defence industry.

The SIMA EMC Centre has a large and versatile instrument park for control measurement of many parameters. Our EMC-Test rooms:

EMC Room-1:

  • Type: 3-meter RF SAC, Semi Anechoic Shielded room, for all Radiated tests, Emission & Immunity.
  • Dimensions (LxWxH): 7.5 x 4.1 x 3.19 m
  • Door dimension (WxH): 112 x 217 cm.
  • Filter power 3-phase max 32 A 400VAC.
  • Turntable load 500kg, Antenna mast
  • Power supply conditions: 230 VAC / 50 Hz (phase+0), max.16 amp
  • 400 VAC / 50 Hz (3 phases+0) max. 32 amp.
  • Signal connections: Ethernet, VGA, DVI, D-sub, USB, HDMI, VDC, etc.
  • Compressed air.

EMC Room-2:

  • Type: Euroshield Shielded enclosure without absorbers
  • Dimensions (LxWxH): 5.1 x 4.1 x 3.1 m
  • Door dimension (WxH): 1.1 x 2.15 m
  • Power supply conditions: 230 VAC 50 Hz (phase + 0) and 400 Vac (3 phases + 0). Max. 32 A
  • Signal connections: Ethernet, VGA, DVI, D-sub, USB, HDMI, VDC, etc.
  • Compressed air
  • Water supply & drain
